Terms of use
These terms govern your use of TamilDial at https://tamildial.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TamilDial.
1. What TamilDial is
TamilDial is a free discovery and player interface for publicly available Tamil radio streams operated by third parties. We curate links, probe availability, and provide a listening UI for the diaspora.
TamilDial does not host, re-broadcast, or store station audio. When you play a station, your browser connects to that station’s stream URL or CDN.
2. Not a broadcaster
- We are not the owner of listed stations.
- We do not produce station programming.
- Station names, logos, trademarks, and content belong to their respective owners.
- Listings are for convenience and discovery only; they do not imply endorsement or partnership unless we say so.
3. Free use, “as is”
The Service is provided free of charge, as is and as available. Streams can fail, change URL, geo-block, or go offline without notice. We may hide stations that fail probes or playback so the dial stays trustworthy.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, catalog completeness, or that every stream will play on every device or network.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the site or station servers.
- Scrape the Service in a way that harms operators or violates law.
- Use the Service for unlawful activity.
- Misrepresent TamilDial as the source or host of station programming.
5. Intellectual property
TamilDial brand elements (name, wordmark, original site design, and our generated UI art) are part of our project identity. Station brands and audio remain third-party property. If you are a rights holder and want a listing adjusted or removed, contact us (section 9).
6. Third-party links and streams
Third-party sites and streams have their own terms and privacy rules. Your use of those services is between you and them. We are not responsible for their content, availability, ads, or data practices.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TamilDial and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or any stream. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to zero (because the Service is free) or the minimum permitted by applicable law.
8. No warranty
We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement regarding the Service and linked streams, to the extent allowed by law.
9. Rights holders & takedown
If you represent a station or rights owner and believe a listing should be corrected or removed, email hello@tamildial.com with:
- Station name and URL on TamilDial (if any)
- Your relationship to the station
- What you want changed (remove, update stream, update name/art)
We will review good-faith requests as soon as practical.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top will be revised when we publish changes.
